Destruction Warlock rotation guide & helper

One target

1. Drain Life when you drop below 40% health, and Shadow Bolt when Shadow Trance lights up.
2. Searing Pain to keep Demonic Brand up, if you have the talent and your demon is alive.
3. Curse of the Elements on mobs living 25 seconds or more, from level 40 or in a group.
4. A Bane: Bane of Doom on mobs living 60 seconds or more (with Pandemic, only while Amplify Curse is on cooldown), else Amplify Curse and Bane of Agony.
5. Immolate, then Corruption only on mobs living 15 seconds or more until it becomes instant.
6. Conflagrate when Immolate has under 3.5 seconds left (changeable).
7. Shadowburn below 10% health on a mob that dies within 8 seconds, with 2 shards or more.
8. Fillers at 50% mana or more: Incinerate, then Shadow Bolt. Below that, Drain Life while solo from level 30, else the wand.

Packs

• Bane of Havoc goes on a 2nd mob under your mouse when 2 or more fight you (a switch, on by default).
• Bane of Agony and Immolate also go on the mob under your mouse, at 30% mana or more ("DoTs on other mobs").
• Hellfire in a group with 3 or more enemies next to you, while you're above 90% health.
• Rain of Fire is off by default; turn it on with a mob count. It lands at your mouse.

Mana and shards

• Life Tap below 40% mana while you're above 60% health, and out of combat too (a main setting).
• Drain Soul on a mob below 25% health while you have fewer than 3 shards.
• In dungeons and raids Incinerate keeps going at any mana, and Life Tap fills you back up.

Good to know

• Every mob above 90% health gets your Bane and Immolate. Below 20% health no new DoTs go on.
• The helper keeps Demon Skin / Demon Armor up and summons your demon out of combat (Voidwalker by default, your pick).
• Fear, Howl of Terror, Death Coil, Healthstone and Soulstone stay yours.
